As agents of community support and compassion we are here to help remedy the hopelessness that one feels, who has lost everything, while underpinning and assisting disenfranchised women through a difficult time.

Our Mission at The Women’s Center is to remedy the cycle of trauma, abuse, violence, and homelessness among women in The Triangle. Through our comprehensive clinical and holistic approach, we assist her in achieving self-sufficiency, obtaining safe and permanent housing, while helping her realize her dream of a fulfilling and dignified life.

Diversity & Inclusion:

As a crisis intervention and assessment center for homeless and at-risk women, we embrace the full spectrum of individualism and diversity. Our clients come from various ethnic, socio-economic, and religious backgrounds. Some are educated, while others have never learned to read. Ideas and opinions are as varied as the unique flowers and produce growing in Women’s Center Community Garden Project. (WCCGP). All women at WC are valued and celebrated.

The Women’s Center believes we are only as strong as our commitment to love and serve the most marginalized and forgotten in our community, homeless and at-risk women.

Further, WC is a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where all employees and volunteers, whatever their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation or identity, education, or disability, feel valued and respected.
